Logan NW Field Irrigation Company

The canal systems in Cache County began in early 1860 to provide water from the Logan River to gardens and dry farms that were being established in the whole of the county. As the population of the county grew it was even more important to get this valuable resource to the people settling the area.

The Logan Northwest Field Irrigation Canal and Company were established to get water to the residents and fields west of North Logan and the Benson area. The fist shares for our company were sold January 2, 1904 and we have continued to supply water to our shareholders ever since.
